Each attendance period covers specific subject material and provides different learning environments. Subject material including digital resources are provided throughout the term. Cost $300
3 day attendance period includes:
2 Pranayama sessions (1 class and 1 practice)
1 Yogasana class (either as participant or assistant)
8 hours workshop discussion with other teachers and trainees regarding teaching methodology
1 hour attendance at a presentation by Alan Goode to students of Yoga Mandir
6 hours within Yoga Mandir courses (either observing trainee or qualified teachers or teaching the syllabus based classes)

Bali Retreat for Teachers and Practitioners (includes yoga philosophy)

Carole Baillargeon and Libby Smith Eastern Philosophy Teacher
This Bali retreat’s focus will be mainly on asanas and pranayama but will also include daily segments on yoga philosophy by Libby Smith. Libby who is also an Iyengar practitioner of 16 years will talk about the difference between Buddhism and Hinduism, central concepts described in Patanjali Yoga Sutras and the place of Iyengar Yoga in the bigger picture.
