On Dec 14, 2011, our beloved Guruji turns an incredible 93 years young! The body of work he has created during his lifetime for all of us to explore is really nothing short of monumental. As any of us who have been privileged enough to visit Pune will know, the institute walls and cabinets are virtually groaning under the weight of plaques, trophies, awards and other acknowledgements for his incredible contribution to the health and well being of humanity.
For many of our members, we may not have had the direct experience of being personally taught by Guruji, but as the recent Australian Convention showed, he has placed us in excellent hands via our own senior teaching community to continue on with his work. For those of us who have been lucky enough to practice in the hall in Pune whilst in Guruji’s presence, his guiding light and inspiration continues to burn incredibly bright.
